We are thrilled to partner with Brilliant Labs to offer a unique opportunity to connect classrooms with real-world sustainability and innovation.
Brothers Make, internationally recognized creators in sustainable design and upcycling, will be delivering two live virtual sessions for ASD-N. With over 600,000 YouTube subscribers, they engage a global audience through creative, hands-on approaches to sustainability and design. Check out their videos here: Brothers Make – YouTube
Sessions:
Teacher PL Session – May 29 (10:55am – 11:55am ADT)
Focus on DIY upcycling and practical classroom connections to sustainability, design thinking, inquiry, and entrepreneurship aligned with NB curricula.
Class Session – May 27 (9:30am – 10:30 am ADT)
An engaging introduction to upcycling through storytelling and live demonstrations (DIY and professional methods). Open to all ASD-N classes.
These sessions align with the NB Curriculum Framework, particularly the tenet of Sustainable Futures, and connect across Science, MSTE, Skilled Trades, Career and Occupational Learning
