To do so\, they will cut and glue a string to a piece of crushed aluminum foil and decorate it! \n\n\nRequired Materials:\n\n\nAluminum foil\nApprox. 15-cm String\nScissors\nGlue\nDecorating materials (paint\, sparkles\, etc.)\n\n\n\n\nThis activity is targeted at students in early years to Grade 3. Older students may still enjoy the activity and book\, but may require additional challenges to remain engaged. \nJoin us for our weekly STEM Storytime series in English on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. ET! DESCRIPTION:Register HERE  \nJoin us on Thursday\, March 19\, 2026\, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM ET\, to learn about the NASA Artemis program to return humans to the Moon. \nIn this webinar we will dive into the exciting ways lunar scientists are preparing to return to the Moon\, especially with Artemis II and beyond. We will explore how Artemis II will scout out the lunar environment to help us prepare for astronaut activities\, including the variety of challenges the Moon presents\, from extremely cold temperatures to radiation at the surface. Participants will engage in surveys and discussions that show the complexity of mission site planning and exploration logistics! \nTo learn more about the NASA Artemis program visit: \n\nNASA Artemis\n\nAll individuals receive a certificate of participation and 100 NSTA activity points for attending the live seminar and completing the end-of-program survey. A certificate of participation is not awarded for watching the recorded version of the program.
